Pink Himalayan Salt Slabs are versatile cooktops and serving platters crafted from natural, pure salt, free from chemicals or additives. They can be heated to sear meats, fish, vegetables and seafood, or chilled for serving sushi, appetisers and cold desserts. Each slab is uniquely formed and ideal for presenting both hot and cold foods in homes, restaurants, spas or catering facilities.
These salt slabs also make striking serving platters, offering a distinctive and elegant presentation. Chill the slab in the refrigerator to serve items such as sushi or cheese, or freeze it to create an innovative way to present cold desserts, including sorbet. Moist foods will absorb more of the salt’s flavour, while drier foods are enhanced visually with a beautiful natural finish.

Care & Clean:
To clean your Himalayan salt block, simply wipe it with a clean, damp cloth or paper towel to remove any food residue. Avoid submerging the block in water, as excess moisture can cause breakage when heated. Allow the salt block to air dry for at least 24 hours after exposure to moisture. No soap or detergent is necessary, as the salt block has natural anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. Occasionally, you can freshen the block with a small amount of lemon juice.
Please note that the appearance of your salt block will change over time, developing new colours and shades with each use. Small fissures and cracks may also occur, which is normal with regular use. When the salt block becomes too small for cooking or serving, it can be grated over food, used for making soup, or even added to a salt bath for detoxification.
